At Coldspring, we are committed to improving the lives of our employees and the communities in which we live and work. Through our corporate wellness initiatives, it is our goal to educate and provide the resources our employees and families need to make educational decisions about their health, nutrition, diet and other life-style choices. That’s why we created this exciting event encouraging our employees and the surrounding community to get involved in a fun day of fitness.
If you are interested in how to train for a 5k check out these tips to prepare for the day. Not a Runner? No problem.  We encourage walkers to join us as well!
All participants will receive an iRockRun T-shirt, and awards to the top competitors in each age category.
Founded in 2008, Central Minnesota Manufacturers Association (CMMA) is a dynamic, member-driven organization committed to the success of manufacturing in Central Minnesota.  CMMA focuses on member education, legislative advocacy, and workforce development.  CMMA’s 181 members benefit from informative meetings, plant tours, networking events, newsletters, free job posting, self-funded workers compensation, self-funded healthcare, legislator tours, and more.  Recognizing the need to improve the image of manufacturing and thus encourage the next generation to choose careers in manufacturing, CMMA invests in a variety of workforce development programs and projects, including:  Tour of Manufacturing, Dream It. Do It., free membership for K-12 schools, and Youth Apprenticeship.  In addition, the CMMA Foundation provides grants to area K-12 schools to help fund manufacturing-related requests, including field trips, FIRST and VEX robotics programs, and the purchase of manufacturing equipment and supplies.
